Britain’s King George VI awarded the now famous George Cross to Malta, then a British colony, for the heroism and gallantry its people demonstrated while under siege during the early stages of World War II. If you need both please order loop backing as well which is available in a 4x8 peel and stick fabric which can be cut to size. The hook backings go on the patches. Loop backings should be sewn on to your jacket.
