What's the iron on temperature setting for my iron?

We use a Japanese brand glue on our patches. This glue is applied over the plastic backing of your patch. It's an invisible layer, but it's there. This particular glue activates at 260-280 degrees Fahrenheit. You should aim to heat up your iron to 270 degrees. You won't find an actual

Can I Iron on a Patch to Leather?

Do not iron on patches to your leather or Nylon Jackets.

Problem is the iron on temperature required to activate the glue on the back of the patch is 270 degrees Fahrenheit. If you apply this heat to Leather or Nylon material, you'll end of scorching it.

You should always sew patches on to your leather. Heat Pressing is reserved for applying patches on to materials like denim or cotton or any synthetic that can withstand the heat.
