We Dodged another Bullet
Here is what our street looks like after Hurricane Irma. We really did dodge a big bullet here on the east coast of Florida. Lost power for the night but it's all back and running. We'll be back to shipping orders on Tuesday! Hoping everyone made out safely. It did sound very scary but the threats are now over for us.
Irma is about to Slam the West Coast of Florida
Here is a satellite photo of Irma getting ready to hit the West Coast of Florida. Our prayers go out to them. We are located at Daytona Beach Florida and it looks like we dodged another bullet this year although I can't say we're out of the woods just yet. The predicted path can change any time. Meanwhile that Jose on the east is still unpredictable and adding to our days of worry here. We are hoping to resume our shipping operations again on Tuesday. Everyone be safe.
Hurricane Irma Update
If you want to find out about the probability of getting hit with hurricane force winds click on the image to go directly to National Hurricane Centers Website. That's your best intel. I recommend everyone to quit watching the news. The Danger is Real, but Fear is a Choice. I guarantee you are going to be stressing and panicking if you keep watching the news. Follow the National Hurricane Center every few hours to check for changes in Eye Path. Prayers for the West Coast of Florida. Our chances of seeing hurricane force winds is about 20% at the moment here in Daytona Beach. Stay Safe Everyone and Do not watch the news. You just might die of a panic attack if you keep watching those weathermen! If you live in a trailer home I recommend seeking shelter. If you are on the west coast I recommend driving up north! If your home insurance hurricane deductible is 10% of your homes value, I recommend seeking shelter. If it's a $500 deductible then chances are your home is built to survive this thing.

Then click on Wind Speed Probability, Don't Panic at what you see, You must click on "Hurricane Wind Speed Probabilities" to see a more friendly probability. The entire state isn't going to get hurricane speeds. Keep an eye on this every few hours to see if you need to run from it or take better shelter.
New Patches have arrived this week
Got some pretty cool patches in this week including a Bunny with a Machine gun, some maple leaf patches for Canadian Firemen and Police and a bunch of fantasy city names for Star Wars and Game of Throne Fans. Enjoy. RIDE SAFE
American Flag Patches with Colored Stripe under the Stars
It's not a very new trend, we've been selling American Flag Patches with one of the stripes directly underneath the stars a different color for quite a few years now. We didn't come up with the idea originally, we just had our customers asking us to make them and so we did. The Red stripe on a Monochrome American Flag Patch is purchased mainly by our Firefighter customers.

September is here, Hello Fall Rallies
September ends the summer months for most of us in the United States. We still burn through it down here in Florida but the leaves start to turn in some of the most beautiful places to ride. There are plenty of Motorcycle Rallies happening over September and October. For us the big one is Biketoberfest here in Daytona which will be from October 19th to the 22nd. We hope to have cooled down by then.
Over my time of vending at Rallies I've been to Wildwood New Jersey during the Roar to the Shore Rally which this year will be taking place from September 7th to the 10th. For us vendors it had always been a lucrative one. We did manage to get hit by a Hurricane once I must add.
The following week of Wildwood is the Delmarva Bike Week which is very close to Wildwood. That event takes place on Sept 14th through 17th. During that same weekend if you are somewhere near Missouri they will be hosting the 11th Annual Lake of the Ozarks BikeFest. I've heard from friends that it is beautiful over at the Ozarks that time of the year.
Bikes Blues and BBQ Rally at Fayetville Arkansas is another good one. Then we got the Reno Street Vibrations, Myrtle Beach and Panama City Beach Fall Rallies.
