Texas Heritage Patches for Texans
You're from Texas you take pride in it. Here are Texas themed patches you can sew or iron on to your clothing. Be Texas Proud!
Have you ever been to Texas? As one of the larger states in the U.S., there's a lot of ground to cover. Texas has some beautiful scenery, plus there are some long stretches of road where it seems like you're the only person left in the world. You can see off into the distance in any direction, and it's rare that you'll meet anyone else. It can be a biker's dream. On the other hand, the large cities of Texas are fun, too. Then there's the coastal area, which is gorgeous in some places. If you're from Texas or just love the state, you can add this Texas Shield Patch to your jacket or vest as a way of showing it. It's in the Flag Patches category on The Cheap Place.
This shield features the flag of Texas. Sometimes called the Lone Star flag, it features one large white flag on a blue background on one third of the flag (the right hand side). The other two thirds are split horizontally. The bottom section is red, while the top is white. Each color has a meaning. Blue stands for loyalty, red stands for bravery, and white stands for purity. The single star stands for unity and was actually used years before the flag was created as a symbol of the united Texans for independence from Mexico. The red and white stripes also predate the flag and were from a flag used by the Republic of Fredonia, a small state that had seceded from Mexico for a short time.
This shield flag can be added to any jacket, vest, or other piece of clothing. If you need more than one, you can even purchase it as a wholesale biker patch.
