There are a lot of different good luck charms out there. Some people nail a horseshoe above their door, while others have a lucky rabbit's foot or a lucky coin. For bikers, however, there are the Guardian Bells. These bells are supposed to help ward off evil spirits by ringing when you ride. This noise protects your bike from everything these evil spirits might do, so you have fewer breakdowns and a smooth, uneventful ride. At least, that's what the legends say.
You don't have to believe in the legend of the guardian bells to have one of these decorative items attached to your bike or on your keychain. Some of them are very detailed. The Biker Bell with American Flag, for example, is a great patriotic decoration to add to your bike. This small pewter bell is inscribed with the U.S. flag on one side and stars on the other. You can attach it to your bike using the metal ring at the top. The bell actually rings, too! It's a fairly small item, measuring two by one by one. It weighs only 1.1 ounces, so it's also very light.
If it seems like you've been having a run of bad luck, or you want to prevent bad luck, add one of these guardian bells to your bike. Even if you don't believe they'll keep away bad spirits, they are a nice addition to your bike's look.
