It's not a very new trend, we've been selling American Flag Patches with one of the stripes directly underneath the stars a different color for quite a few years now. We didn't come up with the idea originally, we just had our customers asking us to make them and so we did. The Red stripe on a Monochrome American Flag Patch is purchased mainly by our Firefighter customers.
The Blue Striped American Flag Patch is Purchased mainly by Law Enforcement Officers
The Yellow Striped American Flag is Purchased mainly by Spouses of Soldiers.
The Green Striped American Flag is purchased primarily by Veterans but we have seen it bought by people who care for this Earth too.
The Orange Striped American Flag Patch is the choice of Search and Rescue Operators.
The Gray Stripe is preferred by Correctional Officers working in Prisons. No Guns, Just Guts they say!
