Challenging and Scenic Motorcycle Road Trips

If you are ready to ride the highest highway in the Northern Rockies travel Beartooth Highway (US 212) . You will cruise sixty eight miles in Yellowstone National Park. You will experience the Rockies at 10,947 feet at Beartooth Pass in Wyoming. The Beartooth Highway with give you panoramic views of snow covered mountains, glacier lakes and granite peaks.

There are motorcycle friendly motels in the area. There are beautiful camping opportunities inside the park. Should you go that route be prepared to hob nob with bison and other wildlife.

While there you can enjoy the Lower Yellowstone Falls, Old Faithful geyser and other raw natural beauty at it's finest.

Between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park ride one hundred and twenty four miles on Highway 12 in Utah. You will see the most beautiful sunsets as you view deep blue lakes and sandstone rock formations. You will enjoy the curves going through the pine forests and canyons.This route will also take you through the Red Canyon in Dixie National Forest and to Boulder Mountain home of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Whenever preparing for a road trip be sure to give your bike a good once over by checking your fluids, tire pressure and your lines. It is always good to carry a small toolkit for emergencies as well as spark plugs and bulbs. It pays to have a tire kit also that includes some time of fix a flat.

Motorcycle riding glasses are necessary for eye safety. Be sure they have UV protection and night vision treatment.
