Challenging Routes for a Motorcycle Trip

If you love a winding roads and challenging riding conditions here are a few routes that promise to give you a beautiful and thrilling ride.

This scenic ride starts  one hundred and twenty miles from Terlingua, Texas on River Road or (FM 170) to Candelaria, Big Bend Texas. As you ride along the Rio Grande through the Chihuahuan Desert. You will be amazed as you enjoy the badlands, the stunted forest, mountains and canyons then a seventeen mile loop off road through the Valley of the gods. You can take a ride by boat over the Rio Grande and it is a short ride to the other side of the Mexican border.

If you enjoy a beautiful wilderness ride head on to Sun Road and ride fifty miles in Glacier National  Park in Montana  over Logan Pass. What now takes two hours took several days to get through the park before the completion of Logan Pass. This might be a place you want to stay over for a few days and camp or there is lodging at the park. They offer seven hundred and forty miles of trails for hiking with scenery that is referred to as the most spectacular scenery on the planet. You can also take long horseback rides there to take in the beauty or even take a boat out in the water to see the glaciers. This would be a great road trip for a group or motorcycle club to take together.

Whenever you are planning to ride for long periods you will need to make sure that you don't forget to take your motorcycle riding glasses with UV protection. Be sure to always pack a tool kit that has a tire repair kit and emergency fix a flat or something similar.
