This weekend there are several biker rallies and several charity rides. Below you will find several in different locations so perhaps you may want to roll in and lend a hand.
New Beginnings Transition Homes Inc. will be holding the 4th Annual Home of Hope Motorcycle Rally and Silent Auction in Murray Kentucky Saturday, September 29th, 2012. Homes of Hope are transition homes for women coming out of incarceration. First Bike out is 10:00am and Last Bike in 2:0 pm. Several prizes will be awarded. Bike Blessings will be available courtesy of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Gatekeepers Firefighter MC Charity Bike Run will be September the 29th in Mesa, Arizona. This will be the 1st Annual Motorcycle Run benefiting the Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Medical Center. The Arizona Pediatric Trauma Unit will benefit as this event will be held yearly. Last bike out at 10:00am. There will be raffles and lunch. You will also enjoy hot firefighters and live music by the Whiskey Dogz.
The Rider's Outpost will be hosting the Riders for Racks Society that will benefit The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The ride will be in Jasper, Georgia on September 29th. KIckstands up at 11:00am. The ride will end at Rocco's Pub for door prizes, live entertainment and fun.
Sequoia Motorsports will be hosting the 3rd annual ride Gimme Shelter Cruise. All proceeds will benefit the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter. The money raised will pay for vaccines and neuters to help cut the cost of adoption. Kickstands up at 9:45am. You will be traveling to Fairview by way of the Nebo Loop. There you will enjoy a raffle and lunch.
Be sure to wear appropriate clothes and motorcycle gear such as motorcycle riding glasses, leather gloves.
