The DFW Freedom Riders emphasize riding often. With this group, there is always going to be a weekend ride (usually Saturday), plus there is often a weeknight ride (usually Thursday). Also, they have a monthly meeting to catch members up and to kick back and share a burger and beer. Currently, they meet on the third Thursday night at Fuddruckers in Grapevine, TX. This group also participates in other events like Rangers games, overnight trips, and midnight rides.
The DFW Freedom Riders is a great motorcycle club because they are committed to diversity in the group. Anyone and everyone is welcome to ride with them, and they love to have guests. Though Honda is mentioned in their name, they are not brand-specific, and encourage people to join other groups as well. Another aspect interesting aspect of this group is they choose a charity to support since 2004, they have supported the A. Fern Norville Children's Emergency Shelter, a great way to give back to the local community.
To become a member, you just need to fill out a form online, though they do encourage you to take a couple of rides with them first to get a feel for the group.
