While rides are great, what could be better than riding the hill country with great friends, motorcycle shows offer a different kind of entertainment for motorcycle enthusiasts. The Dallas International Motorcycle Show, held once a year in November, is a gathering of bikers who are intent on seeing the latest and greatest in the motorcycle world.
One highlight of the event is having your photograph taken with some of the best new racing bikes on the market. From Yahama to Suzuki, one of these bikes is sure to get your heart pounding, and you'll end up with a great photo to show off to your friends. They also feature vintage bikes from the local clubs. If you want a more thrilling hands-on experience, then the demo rides area is just for you, a place to try out the bike you've always wanted. And they don't leave the kids out either, there's a zone just for them to try out bikes, as well.
Another highlight of this event is celebrity appearances. You are guaranteed to see some great pro bike racers. For instance, this year the impressive Carey Hart will be at the Dallas event to sign autographs.
Debatably the coolest part of this event is the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show. This exhibit shows off the best and brightest talent in custom bikes, including the winners of the custom bike competition in four categories. You can even enter your own bike if you are up to the challenge!
Of course, like any good show, Dallas International Motorcycle Show tops it all off with great vendors to stock up on new gear, great food, and great entertainment. I bet you can even find that elusive lone wolf patch you've been wanting to find.
