It was spring break last week. Lora and Eyla were out of school for a week. Instead of sitting down here in Florida we decided to take a little camping road trip up north to Georgia. No reservations or plans we just let the road take us towards the start of the Appalachian Mountains.
Normally we are used to riding in the boring straight and flat roads of Florida, it did become very exciting once we got north of Atlanta and started seeing what we normally don't get to see. Mountains, Curves and Uphill Driving.
We somehow ended up in Vogel State Park, I can personally say it's a great destination to ride to for us Floridians. The journey was about 500 miles from Daytona. The kids got to camp and I got to explore the place for you guys. The roads are excellent for riding your motorcycle. In fact we did get to see a lot of Bikers while we were there. I did find out though the real season to be in that area is during the fall season when the leaves are all changing colors. Nevertheless we had a great time with the whole family.
