Don't you hate it when you've found the neatest iron on patches but then realize there's no space for them on your jacket? That's annoying, especially if you like the new patches better than some of the ones already on your jacket. But if you ironed those patches on, you know how difficult it can be to remove them. The glue melts and permanently bonds the patch to the jacket. Even if you get the old patch off, there's going to be some damage or glue left on the jacket, and the new patch might not completely cover it.
What can you do then? Well, there are a few different ways you can use these motorcycle patches. If they're fairly small, you may be able to place them near the bottom of the jacket, on the front, or on the sleeves. You might also put them on your pants or on some of your other pieces of biker gear, like your gloves or your cap. If you've got several jackets you wear (one for cold weather, one for warm weather, etc.), you could put the patch on one of those other items if there's room.
You can also get really creative. For example, you might be able to put some patches on the inside of your jacket. While this means that people won't see them as often, that may be fine with some patches. If you're using offensive patches, for example, you might want to only show them to certain people. In that case, ironing them into the lining of your jacket might be a good idea. You could also put some patches on your wallet or on your belt, both of which are somewhat unusual but good places for patches.
