Came across across some good media on the internet today.
Motorcycle clubs are often mistaken for gangs, which IS a mistake. They seem to portray a tough/intimidating exterior but they also have a soft side.
The Ol Skool Tribe Riding Club out of Rockingham, NC really showed some Christmas Spirit this past weekend. This makes me appreciate the roof I stay under and the clothes that keep me warm so much more, having to think about the people who don't have or can't afford such necessities.
They set up a give away of clothes, blankets and food for individuals who don't have a warm home to stay in as the rough temperatures of winter begin to roll in. The clothes were donated by individuals and local churches in Richmond County, NC. They had several boxes of clothes to choose from and take of their liking. Once they found something to keep them warm for the winter, the club provided the individuals with a warm hot dog, a bag of chips and a bottle of water! Such a great thing to read about for a meaningful cause. Imagine having to survive outside all winter without the proper coat at the very least!
It's replenishing to see people, helping people survive! Giving back to your community is always a great thing. Sometimes, life really does get real at unexpected times, a little push could help.
