Many motorcycle riders wear leather vests as part of their riding gear. Leather vests are great for warm weather because they're not as hot as a jacket but they do still provide some protection for your chest if you crash. They also look really awesome, especially if you cover them with some biker vest patches. While you can use many of the same patches on your vests as you do on your jackets, you do have to keep in mind that space is at a premium. You won't have quite as much space on a vest as you do on a jacket. You don't have sleeves to put patches on, but many people put patches on the front of a vest, while they might not do that on a jacket.
Like with a jacket, you have two choices for the back of your vest. You can use several small biker vest patches on the back of your vest, or you can put one large patch on there. There's enough space to put a large patch in the middle and a large rocker patch above and below it, or you can sometimes fit a few small patches around a large one. It all depends on how crowded you want the back of your vest and on how large the central patch is.
On the front of your vest, you can put a small rocker patch over the front pocket or use other small patches. You could also leave the front of your vest empty of patches if you wanted to. Sometimes, that draws more attention to the back patch. If you're part of a motorcycle club, you may want to put a club patch or two on the front, such as one that lists your office or rank in the club.
