Looking for a fun motorcycle rally to attend in the next few weeks? How about the Angel City Fall Rally, which will be held October 24 through the 28, 2012. As always, this 'Southern Style' biker rally will be held in Angel City, Georgia, which is near Unadilla. This year, the rally is being held a little bit later than normal because of the issue of bugs and other pesky insects. The organizers are hoping that having it when the weather is a bit cooler will help get rid of those annoyances. Since it's now near Halloween, a costume contest has been added to the rally!
Angel City is actually a small 'town' that was built specifically for biker rallies. It features an Old West theme and includes a saloon, camping area, and more. As one of the biggest biker rallies in the south, the Angel City Fall Rally features a ton of different events and vendors. You'll find everything from biker parts to custom jewelry to LED lights to motorcycle patches available. Don't want to say in a hotel? The area has RV sites, an area for campers, and a campground.
As far as the rally itself goes, these four days are pretty packed. There's a wet t-shirt contest, a bare buns contest, bike games, a burn out competition, bike ride, and much, much more. Some of the live entertainment includes Jimmy Hall with Drippin? Wet, Hired Guns, Sowega Trainwreck, and Soulshine.
