Set your f number to the lowest setting on your camera, (That means high aperture, it opens up the lens wide so you can take a photo focusing extremely clearly on certain parts while leaving the other parts out of focus).
In these videos I'm actually not moving my camera at all. The camera is still on a tripod. I'm just dragging my finger across the screen of the camera to focus around the shot. I then add a Ken Burns effect where I zoom into the video to make it look like I'm moving around as I focus.
I've tried moving the camera, getting a slider, none of them can give you the smoothness of a computer generated path. I just wish my camera took 4k videos so I could really zoom in further using the Ken Burns effect on Imovies.
