If you're a Christian biker, you may want to show your belief in Jesus by putting one or more of the different Christian Patches on your jacket or vest. These patches include everything from simple crosses to popular Bible verses to unique religious sayings. One of the more unique ones is the Be An Organ Donor Give Your Heart to Jesus Patch. I hadn't heard this saying before, and while to be honest it seems a little strange to me, I do see what it's saying.
While I haven't heard this saying, I have heard people talk about giving their hearts to Jesus. Basically, they're saying they believe that Jesus is their lord and savior, the son of God, and that he will stand with them when they die and go to be judged. This patch takes that saying and combines it with the idea of donating your organs for scientific and medical research or transplantation after you die. That's really the part I'm a little confused on, organ donating is done after death, not before, but the message here is that you should give your heart to Jesus now.
Message confusion aside, I have to admit I really like the shape of this patch. It's a heart, but it's not a regular shaped one. Instead, it's slightly asymmetrical, and the point goes off to the left instead of straight down. It gives this patch a nice, stylized look that helps grab people's attention. The thick red outline also helps the patch stand out. It's not a huge heart, it measures three by two inches, but it's large enough, and the yellow thread used on the letters is easy to read.
