I found a patch in the Biker Sayings category that I think I might start passing out to some of the local drivers in my area. It's the Don't Follow Me I'm Lost Too patch; the perfect accessory for some of the people who take to the roads where I live. I don't know about you, but it seems to me there are far too many drivers who simply put the keys in the ignition, start the engine, and hope for the best.
You've seen them... the ones who travel for 10 miles with the turn signal blinking. Or perhaps they drive down a main thoroughfare while stopping at every cross street to see if this is the neighborhood they want to visit. It's enough to make a grown man cry. "I just want to get where I'm going. Is that too much to ask?", is a common phrase you'll hear me screaming out the windshield on any given day.
So I figure if I get a bunch of these patches I can start following some of these clueless drivers to their destination, then surprise them with a lovely parting gift. They would serve as a warning to the rest of us who are following these drivers out the door at the local shopping center. Provided, of course, that the lost drivers attach their patches to a jacket or hat. It probably will never happen; but a guy can dream, can't he?
