A Patch for Ex-Presidents

Ex president patchHave you served a term as the president of your motorcycle club?  If so, you've held what can be one of the most stressful offices, especially if there's any trouble with an event or between some of the club members.  Many clubs give their presidents and other officers motorcycle patches to wear that list what office they hold.  But what happens when you're no longer the president?  Some clubs like to honor those who have held the highest office possible with a patch of their own.   A great example of this is the Ex President Patch.  It lets your proudly proclaim you've led your club, and you can wear it for as long as you like.  It's one of the Uniform Patches on The Cheap Place.

Sometimes, the immediate past president is actually an office.  Clubs that use this often create a chain where one is elected vice-president/president-elect, then, in two years or so, moves up to president.  After their term is up, they serve one term as immediate past president.  Then they're simply listed as an ex president and go back to being a regular member.

This small patch measures three inches wide by an inch tall and is made to be ironed on or sewn on to the front of your jacket or vest.  You can wear it in the same position you'd put a name tag.  In addition to this version, which features the letters and outline in white, you can also find this patch in gold and red.  Just be sure you get the one that matches  with the rest of the officers.  You don't want to be the only one with a different colored patch!
