A Patch for Preachers

Preacher PatchAre you a preacher for a motorcycle club?  If so, you may want to wear a patch that identifies you as the club's minister.  This Preacher Patch is a small patch designed to be worn on the front of a vest or jacket.  This version is done in silver and matches the other silver biker patches.  It's also available in gold and red.

Why would a motorcycle club have a preacher?  Some don't.  Most general motorcycle clubs that aren't specifically formed around a religion normally do not have an elected or appointed club preacher.  If they do pray, one of the members or officers volunteers to lead the prayer.  However, if you're in a Christian motorcycle group or other biker club where the members reflect a certain belief, you may have a preacher.  He or she will give the prayers before and after the meeting and at different events.

The club preacher may also be in charge of coordinating charity events.  They work with local church organizations and other groups to ensure that the correct people receive the money or items that the club has raised.  In many cases, the club preacher is actually a preacher or other official at a local church.  This allows the club to make use of the resources the church has.  Often, the club meetings will be held at the church, and the club may use the fellowship hall or other building to host dinners and other events.  If you're a preacher and want to join a motorcycle club, you might ask if they need a preacher or would like to make use of the church building.  You may find that they'll take you up on the offer very happily.
