It's off to the vulgar patches section today and the Will Fuck For Cake patch. This patch measures 3.5" x 2", sporting both bright yellow and red colors, so it's one that is sure to get in your face as you walk by. What I find most interesting about it is this whole idea of cake. Am I missing something?
I can see doing it for money, fame, fortune, and any other number of reasons; even to catch a husband or wife. But cake? I'm really trying to understand the humor here but I'm apparently not getting it. All I can think of is Marie Antoinette who allegedly responded to the knowledge that the peasants were starving by saying, "then let them eat cake." Although there's no proof she ever said it, the statement was widely attributed to the French nobility during the 18th century who were generally disinterested in the plight of the people.
