I found a new item in the New Patches section that answers the age-old complaint about men only loving women for their bodies. It's the 4" A Man Is Not A Financial Plan patch in black, red, and white. I absolutely love this patch - not because I'm a chauvinist or anything, but just because I like to answer stereotypes with more stereotypes. I would love to have one to flip out every time I heard a woman say, "You're only interested in my body!"
Whether or not either side of the argument is true, I'll leave that decision to my readers. But this is a fun patch that's sure to get some conversation started and maybe even hit a raw nerve or two. It's small enough to be unobtrusive, but big enough that those who see it will have no trouble reading what it says. I also like the choice of colors; using red for the words "financial plan" is a brilliant move.
It has an iron-on backing with heat activated glue, so that means it's a snap to attach to cotton, nylon, polyester, or just about any other fabric. If you prefer to sew it on the die-cut borders will help it lay flat.
Although this would be a good patch for bikers, I picture it being more suitable for the middle-aged fishermen to put on his hat. It also works well for a thirty-something guy on a baseball cap or backpack.
