One of the most renowned military groups in the United States military is the Green Berets, also called the Special Forces. Formed in 1952, the Special Forces have participated in many different conflicts over the years. They are currently split into five active duty groups and two Army National Guard reserve groups. Training to be a Green Beret is not easy and requires additional skills, such as mastering foreign languages and receiving cultural training.
