The founding members of your motorcycle club had to do a lot to get things up and running. It's not as easy to start a club as it might seem. If the group is going to be doing charity work, they may have to file as a nonprofit organization. Then there's the issue of getting a club bank account, something that's not as easy as it once was due to all the different ways of stealing someone's identity these days. There may even be issues of insurance to deal with. The founding members have to decide how the club will be run, who will be in charge, and much more.
And what do they get in return? Well, they get to watch as the club grows and as their ideas become reality. It's a great feeling to know that the club they started will continue on long after they're gone. It's nice to get a little extra recognition, though, so many clubs like to give the founding members a Founder Patch.
