A Patch for Your Club's Public Relations Officer

Public Relations Officer PatchPublic Relations isn't always the easiest or the most sought-after job, but it is one that is usually very necessary.  How will people know about your biker club if you don't advertise it?  How will they know about your different events and rides?  Some clubs roll the duties of a public relations officer into the position of secretary or split it among several officers, but some, usually larger clubs, elect or appoint someone to handle advertising and other PR duties.  If your club has this position, be sure they have a Public Relations Officer Patch.  You'll find it in the Club Patches section on The Cheap Place.

As a public relations officer, your main duty will be to get the word out about your club and its events.  This involves writing press releases for your local newspaper, creating posters and flyers to post around town, and making sure all club members know event details.  In larger clubs, PR officers may even communicate with local radio or television stations, work with other groups in co-hosting events, and create or purchase promotional items like t-shirts, stickers, or custom-make club patches.  It really depends on the club and what its goals are.  A group that wants to raise money for charity or hold a number of rides a year will have more for a public relations officer than a club that mainly exists just for fun.

This PR officer patch measures 3 by 1 inch and features a white border and text.  It can be ironed or sewn on to your clothing (sew it on to leather).  Did you know this patch and others are available as wholesale motorcycle patches?  If your club buys in bulk, it can save money and will have these patches on hand.
