A Patch to Commemorate Crashing

Crashing sucks patchThere are patches to commemorate all kinds of things, but rarely does one seek to make an occasion like a crash something memorable.  However, this Crashing Sucks Patch Small Wings version is different.  It is expressly designed to look like a commemorative patch with angel/eagle wings, but instead of having something thought provoking or emotionally scarring, it has instead a special message about crashing that everyone who has ever wrecked a bike will easily agree and identify with without hesitation.

This embroidered patch is not very big, measuring five inches by an inch and a half, which means that it can easily fit onto any number of items.  For example, you could attach this to a hat or a bag or you could put it on a jacket or pair of jeans to wear it more prominently.  The patch itself is made from velvet with a plastic backing and is in the shape of outstretched wings.  The wings are white and resemble angel wings or eagle wings.  However, in the middle of them is another area of bright red that is made to resemble an area of road rash.  In the middle of this (also in red thread) are the words 'CRASHING SUCKS'.

This patch is easy to apply as the plastic backing has been coated with special heat activated glue that bonds to material when it comes into contact with a heat source like an iron.  The die cut borders also mean that you can easily sew this patch onto clothing as well using either a machine or by hand.  In fact, if you are applying it to leather you will want to sew it on as heat can scar or damage leather products.
