Army Vets, Add this Patch to your Caps

army veteran PatchIf you've been in the U.S. Army, you might want to add a few Army patches to your jacket or vest.  But what about during the summer when it's just too hot to wear a lot of clothing, never mind a jacket?  That's when you add a patch to your cap.  The Army Veteran Patch is specifically shaped to fit on the front of a plain cap.  It works just like all the other stock patches on The Cheap Place: you can sew it on the cap or iron it on (although the shape of the cap does make ironing it on a little more difficult).

This patch is solid black with the words U.S. Army Veteran in yellow.  It the center is one of several logos used by the army.  It's made up of an eagle clutching a branch in one talon and a bunch of arrows in the other.  It has a shield done in the colors of the U.S. flag (blue at the top with red and white stripes down it).  Above the eagle are a scroll and a circle of stars.

The U.S. Army has been around since June of 1775, when the Continental Army was created to fight in the U.S. Revolutionary War.  Following the war, the army was disbanded and reformed in 1791 as the Legion of the United States.

This patch measures 5 by 2.75 inches.  It features a lot of colors on this small size, including yellow, white, green, and red.  The eagle is very detailed.  Army veterans who don't want to put away their patches along with their jackets will definitely want to add this to their caps.
