Been Called a Bitch? Embrace It!

Bitch on Wheels patchMost women have been called a bitch at some point in their lives.  Most of the time, it's meant to be an insult, but not always.  Some people use 'bitch' almost like a term of endearment.  Women might jokingly call their close friends a bitch.  Gay men use it fairly often, too.  But people don't usually get upset when their friends call them a bitch in jest.  It's when it's being used as an insult that it hurts.

But why are you being called a bitch?  Most of the time it's because a woman is standing up for herself and not taking crap from a man.  Biker women are especially known for being strong, independent women.  If it's just because you're standing up to yourself or (gasp) telling a man no, then you shouldn't really feel that insulted about being called a bitch.  Instead, embrace it.

Many women do.  They take the term and make it their own.  They proudly call themselves bitches because, to them, it means they don't take crap from anyone and that they will stand up for themselves no matter what.

Biker women are sometimes called bitches on wheels.  In fact, some women-only biker clubs have used the phrase to refer to themselves.  If you've embraced the word and don't mind being called a bitch, there are some cool biker patches you can wear.  The Bitch on Wheels patch, for example, tells people that you're not afraid to tell them what they can do with themselves since you're a bitch, plain and simple.
