Have you both been there and done that? This popular saying has been around for at least fifteen years, but it's still used today. It's not quite as popular as it used to be, but like all slang, it's still used years after it seemed to be everywhere. This Been There Done That Patch is a way of saying that you've pretty much done just about everything there is to do in the world. It's one of the New Patches on The Cheap Place.
The saying can be applied to many different things. For example, you can say you've been there and done that in regards to repairing your motorcycle. If someone is complaining about how their bike has broken down, a nod and a commiserating been there, done that is a way of telling them you feel for what they're going through. You can also use this saying when you're talking about any experience you've been through. Often, it's used as a way of saying that you've already had an experience and have no desire to go through it again!
This patch is the same size and style as many other Sayings Patches on the site: it measures four inches across and an inch and a half tall, and the writing is white embroidered over a basic black patch. You can easily attach this fun patch to your clothing by ironing it on to your jacket, vest, belt, cap, or bag. Just be certain the material isn't leather or nylon. If you try to iron a patch onto either of these materials, you risk damaging them. Instead, you'll need to sew the patch on, which is a fairly easy thing to do since the patch has die cut borders around it.
