Bikers Aren't Evil

333 Half Evil PatchMany people take one look at a person on a motorcycle and immediately think the worst of them.  They label bikers a bad influence, and some might even say that they're evil.  But what harm to bikers really do?  The truth is that most motorcycle riders don't do anything that could be considered bad or evil.  In fact, many of them actively help their community by doing charity work or volunteering for various organizations.  Some people just don't see beyond the fact that they ride a motorcycle, though.

What is it about a motorcycle that makes people think their riders are bad influences?  Motorcycles are often seen as dangerous vehicles.  There's nothing protecting the driver from the elements or from danger in the event of a crash.  Why would anyone want to ride something that could cause him or her to get hurt?  That's what many people ask, and since motorcycle riders can't give them an answer that they find satisfying, they decide bikers are dangerous people who don't care about their own safety.

Some bikers like to make fun of the fact that others consider them evil.  They'll do things like wear the 333 Half Evil Patch on their jacket.  This patch is based on the idea that 666 is the mark of the devil and the sign of someone who is truly evil and has no morals or ethics at all.  But since the patch says 333, it means the person is only half evil!  It really makes no sense at all, but neither does the fact that people assume bikers are bad just because of what they ride.
