Catch up on Your Myrtle Beach Patches

Myrtle Beach 2013 Pink Heart patchThe Myrtle Beach Bike Rally is coming up, which means many bikers will be headed to South Carolina on May 9.  They'll be in town until the 18th, so this 'week' actually lasts nine days.  Like many of the major biker rallies in the U.S., there are special Myrtle Beach biker patches issued every year.  There are usually a few different versions put out for the rally.  These patches are often only available at the rally itself, and once they sell out, they're gone.  Fortunately, some online resellers like The Cheap Place buy some extra stock so we can offer them online.  If you attended the Myrtle Beach rally in 2013 and forgot to grab a patch, we have a limited supply.  One of these is the Myrtle Beach 2013 Pink Heart patch.  It's especially great for lady riders.

Myrtle Beach Bike Week, originally called the Harley Bike Week, started in 1940.  The rally began small, but it eventually grew to attract more than 200,000 bikers.  Black Bike Week, a rally that celebrated the history of African-American bikers, was founded in 1980.  The two events are often held together or back to back, bringing bikers into the city.  There have been some issues over the rallies being held in Myrtle Beach itself.  In fact, the city actually passed 15 different laws preventing motorcycle events in the city at one point, but in June of 2010, the South Carolina Supreme Court overturned many of them, and the rally returned to Myrtle Beach proper.

Remember, we only have a few of these patches left.  If you want one, be sure to order it soon!
