Many people have made their plans to attend the 2012 Daytona Beach Bike Rally. It's almost here, so get your bike tuned up and pack your bags! If you attended last year's rally, you know what to expect. You also might want to let others know you're a Daytona veteran by adding a rally patch or two to your jacket. Patches from previous years aren't being produced any longer, however, so you need to pick up the ones you want now. For those looking for a basic, simple Daytona patch, the Daytona 2011 Bike Week Patch White Shield patch.
This basic patch is shaped like the shield used on highway signs, and it the text is pretty simple: Daytona Bike Week 2011 70 Years is all it says. This version is done in white text. It measures two by two, so it's small enough to fit on a jacket with tons of other bike week patches.
Daytona Beach hosts its bike week the first full week of March. This year, it starts on March 9 and ends on March 18, so it's actually longer than a week. Daytona, along with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, is one of the two largest bike rallies held in the U.S. It's so popular that in 1991, a second Daytona rally was held. This rally, called Biketoberfest, is held in October. While it's not quite as large as Daytona Bike Week or as the Sturgis rally, it still draws a good sized crowd.
If you need to purchase multiple copies of the Daytona 2011 patch, either for your bike club or to resell, you should buy wholesale patches. This allows you to save a little bit of money per patch.
