There are many different types of biker clubs out there. While some are general organizations that admit anyone living within a certain area, other clubs focus on a specific demographic: veterans, women, gays and lesbians, or Christians, just to name a few. Christian biker clubs do many of the same types of events that other clubs do, but they usually have a religious angle or aspect to them.
One thing you'd notice right away that is a little different is that Christian bikers usually open and close each event with a prayer. This includes their regular meetings and rides. They may offer a general prayer of thanks or one specific to an event, such as asking for a safe ride.
Like many biker organizations, Christian biker clubs often get involved in a local charity. Many times, they will partner with a church or other Christian organization to help raise money for those in need. Some also volunteer at soup kitchens or with their church. It's also not unusual to see a group of bikers hard at work doing minor repairs or renovations to the church.
You don't have to be a Christian to be a biker, of course, nor do you have to join a Christian biker club. But if your religion is very important to you and you want to share your hobby of riding with others who share your faith, a Christian biker club may be the right fit for you.
You can show how much your faith means to you and let others know you're a Christian biker with this large Christian biker back patch that reads 'I ride with Jesus'.
