Every now and than I'll get an email from someone complaining about my patch prices. That there are other websites they can get the same patch for a dollar fifty.
True there are hundreds of websites out there selling millions of different patches for about a dollar a patch. But you would be wrong to say that you are buying the same patch even though the picture you see looks exactly the same on your computer screen.
Fact #1. We sell stock patches. Meaning what you are buying is already made, in stock, ready to ship. And it is made the proper way. Most sites will just have pictures of thousands of different designs claiming they sell patches. For example cafepress.com thinks they have the widest selection of patches but all you are going to get from them is a screen print of a design over a blank patch that has embroidered borders. That is not an embroidered patch.
Fact #2. We make patches from scratch. There are two way to making patches. You can embroider over a blank patch and get cheesy results or you can layout the fabric on a machine with 20 embroidery heads and start from scratch. All the patches we sell are made from scratch. The design and the borders are embroidered. Than the fabric receives plastic iron on glue backing which holds the embroidery stitches tightly together for years. And finally we create a die and die-cut the patch to ensure you get the cleanest borders. We do not use merrowed borders where the finish is a cheesy result. Not many people are into die cutting as it adds to the costs.
Fact #3. We ship the day you order whether you are buying retail or in bulk. Not many people can stock hundreds of thousands of patches ready for immediate shipment. We Can! and we've been doing it for years. It's nice to know if you are a Rally Vendor that there is someone reliable you can count on to get your stock delivered on time. We've got about 2000 different patches and we are in stock on over 99% of them at any given time.
