If you love Honda motorcycles, you'll find patches just for you in the Honda Patches category. Some of these great items feature the Honda logo of a red wing rising above the name, while others feature a bright gold eagle. That's what is on one of my favorite patches in this category, the Wings of Gold Patch, Upwing Eagle. It's a large patch, too, so be sure you've got plenty of space on the back of a jacket or vest for it. It measures 10 inches by 12.5 inches. It looks awesome on black, though, since the golds, browns, and white of the patch really stand out.
Honda started building motorcycles in 1955 and has since become the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Japan. At one point, they were producing almost three million motorcycles a year! In the 1960s, they started selling their products internationally, and it didn't take long for Honda to become a worldwide success. The red wing over the HONDA logo is used for their motor sports products, which includes off-road vehicles, motorcycles, and aquatic vehicles like jet skis.
One of their motorcycle lines is called the Gold Wing, and that's why some Honda patches feature a large golden eagle. This Wings of Gold patch is aimed at bikers who ride these Hondas, but it can be worn by just about anyone because it doesn't actually say 'Honda' on it anywhere, it just features a large golden eagle and the words 'Wings of Gold' under it. This patch looks amazing when you're flying down the road and the sun is shining right on those bright golden wings.
