If you're a Bad Example, Brand Yourself with this Patch

Bad Example patch'You're a bad example!'  Has anyone ever said that to you?  This term is usually applied to older children or adults who are doing something that younger kids will want to do, even if it's dangerous.  Being a bad example means getting into trouble and leading others to do the same.  But some people embrace the term.  To them, being a bad example means doing all those fun things that strict people don't want them to.  If you're one of these people, you need this Bad Example Patch to let everyone know it.  It's one of the cool Embroidered Patches on The Cheap Place.

Being a bad example is somewhat subjective, obviously.  What one person thinks is setting a bad example, another may think is perfectly fine.  The trouble is figuring out where that line is.  Some of the most famous people in history are those who were setting bad examples.  Some people probably said that the Wright brothers were definitely a bad example.  They wouldn't want their kids thinking it was okay to go jumping off cliffs in a hand-build experimental airplane, after all.

This is a long rectangular patch that measures four inches long and an inch and a half tall.  While most patches have bright white embroidered words, the words on this patch are a silvery grey, so it looks a little bit different than other sayings patches.  As with most of the appliques and iron on patches available, this one can be melted onto your clothing by running a hot iron over it.  This melts the plastic backing, but if you do this, the patch will be permanently attached.  If you'd like to remove the patch later, or if you're putting it on a leather item, you'll want to sew it on.
