If You're an Ambassador, Wear a Patch to Show It

Ambassador patchDo you work as an ambassador for your motorcycle club or for any other group?  Ambassadors are often the first point of contact for a group.  They present the 'face' of the club and often attend large regional meetings between motorcycle clubs.  Here, the ambassadors may work together to create regional events or rides that all clubs within the area can participate in.  If you're the ambassador for your club, you might need to wear this Ambassador Patch so that everyone knows you can speak for your group.  The patch is one of the Uniform Patches on The Cheap Place.

The term 'ambassador' has been used by many organizations.  The most obvious use of the term is for political ambassadors, the official envoy of a country that can represent and make deals for a government.  However, the term can also be used for those who serve as a figurehead for a group.  For example, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) often appoints film, music, and pop stars as their goodwill ambassadors in order to raise awareness of their charities and activities.

The position of motorcycle club ambassador is often an elected one, but in some groups, the president may appoint someone to the position.  Either way, if you're an ambassador for your group, you should be identified as such with one of these patches.  The word 'ambassador' is embroidered in white on this patch, and it has a white die cut border surrounding it.  The patch is also available in red or yellow.  It measures three inches wide by an inch high.  The patch can be ironed on to most materials or sewn on to leather or nylon.
