I'm not sure where the latest patch in the Christian Patches category of The Cheap Place is meant to be worn. It is the These Are My Church Clothes patch. I will admit I don't go to church as often as I should, so maybe that's why I'm confused by this. Most people dress up for church (that's why dressy clothing is sometimes called your 'Sunday best'), so a patch on a button up shirt or slacks would look very out of place. If you wear it on just any old shirt, jacket, or pants, though, you might look out of place at church.
Some churches don't have a strict dress code, though, so maybe this patch is mainly aimed at people who go to more relaxed services. But maybe the message here is a bit more subtle? I've heard people make the argument that church and religion is more than just something to do on Sunday. I think this patch might be saying that it doesn't matter what you're wearing - any outfit can be your church clothes - if you're following your religion. I like that idea. Who hasn't seen someone in old, ratty clothing being more Christian than someone in an expensive suit? I know I have.
It's easy to attach this patch to any type of clothing. Just iron it on or, if you're attaching it to leather, sew it on. The rectangular patch has a red boarder that makes it really stand out on any color. The white letters are easy to read, too. The 'ARE' in the message is even done in a pale yellow color so that it stands out even more.
