Riding at night can be quite dangerous. Actually, doing anything at night can be dangerous, especially if you're near traffic. That's why it's always important to wear bright, reflective clothing. But that kind of clothing really isn't the biker look, is it? Well, there's a way around that, add some neat Reflective Patches to your dark leather jacket. There are many different patches that look great and can keep you safe. If you're patriotic, you might want to add an American Flag Reflective Patch to your jacket.
This patch is your basic, standard United States flag with two slight twists. The first is that, obviously, it's reflective. The second is that it has a thick silver border around it. This border makes it very easy to sew it on to leather clothing without it looking odd. Why? If you used black thread, for example, it would easily show up in the red, white, and blue. Use red, and it still shows up in the white and blue. With multicolored patches that don't have a border, it's really hard to sew them on and make them look nice. Of course, if you're attaching this patch to non-leather items, just iron it on.
This reflective patch isn't too large, it measures three inches by two inches, so it can be worn on a jacket sleeve or on the front of your vest. You could even put it on your back pants pocket, but then it wouldn?t really help keep you safe at night. Be sure you have at least one reflective patch on your dark clothing if you're riding at night. Always be safe!
