If you're a police officer or sheriff, you might find some great patches in the Police Patches category. Some of these patches seem a bit odd to me. Maybe the law enforcement officers in my area just don't wear patches? I have to admit, though that if they did, anyone wearing the Live Free Ride Free Sheriff Star patch would have my complete attention! It's scary, and I'd certainly think any sheriff with this patch on his jacket was capable of anything he claimed.
Before you start thinking of where you want to put this skull and crossbones patch, note that it's one of The Cheap Place's large patches. It measures 11 inches by 11 inches, so you're going to need the entire back of a shirt or jacket. You might be able to fit smaller patches around it, though. That's another thing I really like about this patch: it's not a circle or a rectangle like many other patches. It's not even a true star since some of the crossbones and banner stick out.
This isn't the most colorful patch, it's mostly black, white, and grey, but it's still attention-grabbing. How could you ignore a big skull? It stands out pretty well on dark colored clothing, especially the white parts. The star and banners are even outlined in white/grey, so they're very visible, too.
I think this patch would work for bikers just as much as police officers and sheriffs. There's nothing on it that necessarily screams law enforcement, after all.
