Is any collection of motorcycle patches complete without at least a skull or two? I think not. That's why I've chosen the Reflective Small Cracked Skull patch as the subject of today's post. If you're interested in taking a look you'll find it in the Small Cool Patches category at The Cheap Place. This one is a mere 3" x 3.75" so it's the perfect size for the breast pocket, the arm, or between the shoulder blades. There's a larger 10-inch version if you feel like scaring the crap out of other drivers.
Why would it be scary?
In case you didn't get it from the patch's name, this one is reflective. Can you imagine driving down a dark road at night only to come upon a biker in front of you wearing this patch? If you're at all nervous about the nighttime it's quite possible you be briefly frightened while your mind makes sense of what you're seeing. Believe me, I've seen it happen.
The smaller version of the patch is not as imposing, but it still serves the important purpose of being reflective. Reflective patches are a necessity for any biker because cars have a hard enough time seeing motorcycles during the day. At night it becomes nearly impossible. If you don't have any reflective patches this one might be the first to add to your collection. As an added bonus, it's a skull - and every biker needs at least one skull patch!
