Duh is a slang term used to express the feeling of disdain during some stupid things happens. Often we used the 'Duh' term to show ironic response to a question. This little term was used by many of the people in the world to show self evident remarks.
Looking back the history, the origin of the term 'DUH' starts from 1963. Yeah, in 1963 the New York Times Magazine elucidated the "pro" of this term. The people can use this term during if they think you already should know something, or if you tell them something that they already knew.
