So kids, do you love your beer? If so, you might agree with the idea behind the Beer is What's for Dinner patch, found in the Beer Patches section at The Cheap Place. This 4" x 1.5" rectangular patch is pretty simple in design; white embroidered lettering on a black background. I suppose when you're talking about something as simple and fundamental to the American biker as beer, you don't need anything fancy.
I used to be a beer drinker, so I understand the sentiment behind this patch. I can even see the humor in it as well. And though I'm not at all opposed to beer or those who drink it, it seems as though my tastes have changed over the last ten years or so. For example, I used to love strawberries. Now I can't stand them. The same can be said about lots of things in my diet, including beer. These days I would rather enjoy a nice glass of chilled Cabernet Sauvignon. I know I wouldn't fit in very well at the Sturgis bike rally; I only hope my new tastes don't make me a snob.
Anyway, if you agree that beer is what's for dinner, then you need to get one of these patches and sew it on a sleeve or a shoulder. Let the world know your affinity for the bikers' drink of choice. And next time everyone sits around enjoying a cold one, you'll be right there with them.
