POW-MIA Riders

POW-MIA biker patchAs a veteran and a biker, you will want to show your support for other veterans as well as those who have gone missing during wars and conflict. The POW-MIA Riders motorcycle club offers a place for you to show that support.

The primary goal of the group is to bring POWs and MIAs home from foreign countries by keeping these soldiers alive in the minds of people across the United States. They want every soldier who has been lost in war to be accounted for. To that end, they ride in remembrance of these soldiers. They also work with other veteran groups who share the same goal.

They also take donations to help support the cause. These donations go to organizations that support bringing home soldiers. The primary organizations the POW-MIA Riders support are the Vietnam Veterans of American and Task Force Omega. They also provide a scholarship each year to a child of a POW, MIA, or KIA soldier or the child of a member of the POW-MIA Riders.

If you are interested in joining, you must have served in a branch of the military for at least two years. However, if you do not meet the criteria but want to support the cause, you can join one of the support groups and ride in honor of these soldiers. They have local branches across the nation, which you can find through the website; they have branches as widespread as Texas and Massachusetts, you should be able to find one near you.
