Reward your Charter Members with this Patch

Charter member patchAre you a charter member of your motorcycle club?  Charter members are those original members who founded the group.  Charter members get their name from the club charter, which is what the documents creating the group are sometimes called.  While charter members may actually sign the charter, they don't necessarily have to.  Today, anyone who was one of the original members of a group can be called a charter member.  If you're one of these members, you have the right to wear a Charter Member Patch White design.  This patch is in the MC Patches section of The Cheap Place.

Charter members don't usually get any sort of perks, but it is nice to be recognized as one of the founders of your club.  Sometimes, charter members will get to ride in the front of the group in a parade, or they might get first pick of something.  Usually, though, they simply get recognized as being a part of the club since it began.  They may also be recognized when the club becomes five, ten, or twenty years old, especially if some of the charter members have left.

In addition to white, you can also find this patch in red.  The white lettering is easy to read, and it's embroidered in the same white as the die cut border is.  This border makes it very easy to sew the patch onto your clothing since all you need is some white thread and a needle.  You have to sew it on to leather, but if you're putting it on some other type of material, you can iron it on.  The patch measures 3.5 inches wide by one inch tall, so it can be put on many different items.
