We had such a good time with the military patches last week that we decided to focus on them again this week. Today I want to introduce the collection of Vietnam War rockers by discussing the Vietnam 1965 Patch -Shoulder Rocker. The 1965 patch is one in a series of eight shoulder patches designed for veterans of the Vietnam War. The collection spans the years from 1965 to 1972.
In case you're wondering why these years were chosen, especially in light of the fact that the war actually began in 1955, it's due to the parameters of U.S. involvement. The United States began a troop buildup in 1961 but didn't actually engage in combat until 1965. These Rocker patches are dedicated to those service personnel who served during the combat years.
As shoulder rockers they are perfectly suited for the shoulder of your leather jacket or your field jacket - if you still own it. All of these patches have die cut borders and a plastic backing with heat-activated glue. They can easily be attached to fabric using nothing but a hot iron. If you're attaching them to leather you'll need to use needle and thread as the glue does not adhere to leather.
Also be aware that these Vietnam rocker patches are available with any other wholesale patches you might buy as a reseller. Your entire order can be placed together and shipped to your door free of charge if you spend more than $10.
