Many people take great pride in the fact that they are an American. There's something about their home country, even if it's their adopted home country, that makes them swell with pride. Being an American makes them feel special, and they want everyone to know of their heritage. This pride may take a number of different forms.
Some people will do their best to only buy American products. For example, bikers will only buy shirts that were made in America. They usually ride motorcycles such as Harley Davidsons and won't buy brands like Honda or Kawasaki since they're not made in the U.S. They usually only shop at stores that are based in the U.S. They may even go out of their way to purchase American-made products even when that means going to multiple stores or paying more.
Other people show their pride by honoring veterans and other military personnel. They will donate to veteran's groups and attend ceremonies on Veteran's Day. Many will fly the American flag and flags like the MIA/POW one at their home or from the back of their motorcycles. They might also add U.S. flag patches or small American patches to their jackets and vests to let others know how much pride they have. There are other biker accessories for patriotic riders, too, such as pins, stickers, and jewelry.
If you love being an American, show it. Wear these patches, fly the U.S. flag, and make sure everyone knows just how much you love being from the United States.
