I recently read a news report regarding the large cross at the Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial, prompting today's blog post covering the Three Crosses patch from The Cheap Place. This patch is available in their Christian patches section.
What prompted my ire is the fact that there are a group of unhappy individuals trying to force the Veterans Memorial to remove the cross because it offends them. In response to this effort, and the seemingly growing hostility towards the cross as a symbol, I've decided to show my support for Mount Soledad with this post.
If you support the Veterans Memorial as well, you should probably purchase a dozen or so of these patches and distribute them to fellow supporters. Even if you don't adhere to the Christian faith itself, the cross is an integral part of U.S. history that's been included in cemeteries and war memorials for hundreds of years. It's time you and I stand up against a very small but vocal minority trying to sterilize our culture from everything religious.
If you're a patch reseller you can get the Three Crosses patch, and other wholesale patches, at reduced rates from The Cheap Place. If your business is doing well you might even consider selling it under a program that will donate a certain percentage of the proceeds to the Mount Solon had Veterans Memorial. It would be a real, genuine, practical way to aid them in their legal fight.
