The veterans of the United States military deserve to be honored for everything they've done for their country. Even those who haven't actively been in combat have put in years of service, and those who have gone to war have gone above and beyond the call of duty. While we haven't always given these heroes the respect they're due (the veterans of the Vietnam War know all about this), today's attitude is that everyone who wears the uniform should be respected. If you've been in the military, you might want to remember your years of service with a Vet Patch, Military Stamp Letters Army Green. It's one of the military patches found on The Cheap Place.
This patch is done in the camouflage green lettering used on many uniforms, so it looks more 'military' than some of the other patches (this same patch comes in red and white). Of course, the other two colors do tend to stand out more, especially on dark coloring. However, not all vets want the attention. Some want to do something to show that they've been in the military, but they don't want to make a big deal out of it. That's what this patch does.
Military patches come in all shapes and sizes, but many tend to be circular or rectangular. What's neat about the Vet Patch is that while it's mostly rectangular, it's actually not. The border of the patch follow the V and T, which makes it look neat but could make sewing it onto leather items a bit more difficult.
